Island Escapade to Caramoan

In the town of Caramoan, the scorching full moon was watching on us while drinking cold Redhorse and playing game called “In-Between”, a simple card game that involves betting. We’re super laugh trip that night and it was a very memorable card game that I played so far. I don’t know why I’m so “malas” that night. Just imagine guys, I have two aces and it’s definitely higher but what I got was another ace, a triple aces on my hand. I lose more than P200 because of that. I’m such a loser!  It’s just started just only one peso then 5 pesos and it became higher and higher. We knew there’s money involved on playing this game but we really don’t care how much money did we lose. The bonding of our group was our main focus and it became even more precious because of this game "Kahit may talo, lahat masaya pa rin." It was past 12 midnight when we slept. Our call time for Caramoan’s island hopping would be 7AM.

The 2nd day of our Adventure in Caramoan was definitely exciting. It’s very fun because the next activity that we're going to do was island hopping. According to our guide, we will be visited the islands and beaches around the Caramoan group including Pitogo, Sabitang Laya, Tinago Manlawig Sandbar, Lahuy, Gota, Lahus, Cotivas Minalahos, Hunongan, Matukad, Haponan, Basod, and others (some of the islands that I mentioned will be explored on the 3rd day).

The first island that we conquered was very beautiful. It has pristine water and white powdery sand just like in Boracay. Our "puyat" were all gone after we saw the spectacular island. The crystal clear water was very enticing to swim. We we're not wasted our time so we immediately take off our sando/shirts and dive into the refreshing water.

Other than swimming, rock climbing is one of the best activities that you can do on this island. Peepz.. be careful because most of the stones are pointed and sharp. On the top of the mountain, you will see the spectacular view of the whole island. It's very relaxing but a bit scary because one wrong step, you might fall.

The second and third islands that we explored were almost the same with the first island. It has also magnificent scenery. The water is very pure and clean. There are some parts of the sea are aqua green and some are clear blue. The heat of the sun pounded down on us. Actually we really never care if we will get darker and darker. We just enjoyed the sun, sand and water.  Tan is the color of the summer. Am I right? hehe

No wonder why Survivor chose Caramoan as the setting of their previous episodes. You would definitely be amazed when you see every beaches and islands. I'm pretty sure, you want to go back on this place again and again and will bring your friends, family and love one to experience what you had on this paradise.

The last island that we explored was very fun. Why? Look at the photos above, it's "Putik Festival" of our own. We're all crazy.. hahaha. We felt we own the whole island. "Tawa here, Tawa there, Tawa all around" hahaha. We put the mud all over our skin. I know there are lots of benefits of mud to our body especially to our skin. Mud contains important minerals which have positive effects on human health. Mud therapy is being used by people to treat diseases since ancient times. There are some saying it increases blood circulation, energize skin tissue, improve complexion and clear spots and patches on the skin. Maybe these are the reasons why we did this crazy action lols.

The island hopping that we did was a bit tiring but very memorable. The white-powdery white sand, crystal clear water, artistic limestone cliffs and rocks, marine life and others were very pleasing to my eyes. I just hope more tourist especially the Filipinos will come to Caramoan. You would definitely say "It's More Fun in the Philippines."

Check out my blog soon for another exciting island hopping on the 3rd day of my Caramoan Adventure.
