Danjugan Island in Negros Occidental PH

In the province of Negros Occidental, you can find the Danjugan Island Marine Reserve, a wildlife sanctuary in Brgy. Bulata featuring diverse and highly dense coral life.

Danjugan Island is a small island with 43 hectares that lies in the Sulu Sea, 3km west of Negros Island, in the Visayan Island Group, and is surrounded by beautiful coral reef. It is famous for diving and considered as one of the most recognized dive spots in the region.

The island offers a natural beauty and breath-taking spots. It has tropical forests and coral reefs contain the world's richest and most diverse environments. There are also lagoons and dense limestone forests in the area that provides a sanctuary for many wildlife species.

Danjugan Island is home of  beautiful creatures like tabon scrubfowls, sea eagles, rare pigeons, fruit and insect bats, coconut crabs,  and many other wildlife species.

One of the best features of the island is the white beach. It has natural white sand mixed with pebbles and shells plus crystal clear water. 

There so many things to do in this amazing island like trekking, boating, scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaking, sailing, and other water activities.
