Hey tropa! Are you ready for the Summer 2014? Do you already have plans where to go? Are you going to spend your vacation in a beach, mountain, or just at home? Whatever your plans, you need to make sure you have the budget and time to make your summer vacation enjoyable and memorable.
In the Philippines, we always experience hot weather especially from the month of March to May. The tendency is to look for something that can relieve the uncomfy feeling. The first thing that comes to my mind is to go to beach. Oh! Yeah! I love beach! Summer is not complete without spending time at the beach.
There are lots of notable beaches in the country. The number (1) one on my list is Boracay. It is located in the northwestern tip of Panay, Western Visayas, offering sugary white sand beaches and azure blue waters. The paradise is the best for party animals and foodies just like me, wherein lots of restaurants and bars offering delicious food and refreshing beverages. This Holy Week, I'm sure a lot of locals and foreigners are going here to spend their summer vacation.
How about going to a place with beautiful beach shoreline and dominates by towering marble cliffs. I know you know this place- El Nido. It prides itself in having the most beautiful seascapes in the province of Palawan, known as the country’s last frontier.
Aside from El Nido, you can also take an island hopping in Coron and Puerto Prinsesa in Palawan. You can see here lots of beaches with white sand and pristine water. It also features marine reserve park, craggy limestone cliffs, unique caves, among others.
Caramoan in the province of Camarines Sur is one of the great destinations every summer. This is the venue where the 13th season of Survivor (2012) took place. The island is just like Coron in Palawan, offering beaches with white-powdery sand and magnificent cliffs. You might also want to check the Tinaga Island, Calaguas in Camarines Norte. It has a place called Mahabang Buhangin, a picture perfect paradise with a long stretch of fine white sand.
If you want to be on the north side, go ahead in the paradise of Pagudpud in Ilocos. It’s consider as the “Boracay of the North. The beautiful beach is reputed to have the longest contiguous white sand with mighty waves and strong winds that can compare to Hawaii.
I can also recommend the beaches in the island of Panglao. It is a small island in the province of Bohol. It is also perfect for a great dive this summer.
If you're from the Manila, the nearest beaches that you can enjoy for your summer getaway are in Batangas or Puerto Galera in Mindoro.
And if you want to be far from the Metro, the beaches in Samal, Davao, Siargao Islands in Surigao del Norte and Great Santa Cruz Island in Zamboanga are three of the best tourist spots in the southern part of the Philippines, offering long kilometre of white sandy beaches. You can see the powdery beach competes with the blue and green shades of the sea. These places are really amazing.
These beautiful destinations can promise you a magnificent experience in wonderful paradises. They have beach, hotels, resorts, music, food, drinks, nightlife, etc that will guarantee to spice up you, family and friends.
