Sky Ranch Tagaytay Features Tallest Ferris Wheel In PH

Do you know where's the tallest Ferris Wheel  in the Philippines? Want to see something new in Tagaytay?

Last month, I was invited by MyPhone on the launching of its latest affordable android phone, MyPhone Fun Rio, at the Sky Tagaytay Ranch. This event was really fun and exciting because we're able to experience all the rides in the new leisure park including the Sky Eye.

I'm always planning to visit the new wonderful place in Tagaytay but unfortunately, I don’t have time. The reason why I want to go to Sky Ranch is because I’m very curious to its Ferris Wheel, which is considered as the tallest/highest Ferris Wheel in the Philippines. Woah! It has 63 meters (207 ft) with 32 gondolas, beating the Enchanted Kingdom's Wheel of Fate at 130ft and Mall of Asia Eye at 55 meters (180 ft).

Sky Ranch is a leisure park that occupies 5-hectare property beside the Taal Vista Hotel along Aguinaldo Highway in Tagaytay. It offers outdoor activities such as horseback riding and a mini-amusement park for kids. The park has varied selection of restaurants that provides dining with prime views of the famed Taal volcano.

We tried first the famous Super Viking. Just a reminder guys, challenging yourself on this kind of ride is a bit scary. The going up and going down of the norse seafarers will tend you to shout loudly. Super Viking is the best for thrill seekers and brave ones. Ticket price is P100.

For kids and young at heart, take a try and have fun on their colorful ride which include Nessi Coaster, Red Baron, Wonder Fight, Mini Pirate Ship, Snail Shooter, and Carousel.  Ticket price on each ride is P50. Express Train and Sky Jump ticket price is P80 each.

It's good to know SM decided to retain  the horse back riding activity which near Taal Vista Hotel. If you don't know how to ride on a horse, don't worry there is staff that will guide you. Horse are well-trained and gentle. The rate is P250 for 30 minutes.

Another exciting activity that you should try in Sky Ranch is the Sky Rider, a zip line in 300 meters long. One- way is P300 while 2-way is P400  during weekdays. One- way is P400 while 2-way is P500 during weekends & holidays.

The time we're waiting for! Everyone is excited to ride in the big wheel. We entered in a white capsule which can occupies 3-4 persons. I saw 32 Gandolas under the blue sky that move in a very slow motion. While it's moving, we enjoyed the magnificent view of Taal lake and astounding mountains in the provinces of Batangas, Cavite and Laguna. It's very refreshing and relaxing! What a life! By the way, ticket price in Sky Eye (Ferris Wheel Ride) is P150.

If you're tired and hungry, No worries! Sky Ranch offers a lot of food establishments that will complete your Tagaytay experience. You can choose from Downton Pizza and Pasta, which caters Italian cuisines; Leslie Restaurant, which serves variety of traditional Filipino dishes; Rue Bourbon, which offers Western -American food; and Red Engine Dinner, which offers burgers, steak, salads and mix of appetizers. Inside the park, you can also buy affordable snack like hotdog, ice cream burger, among others.

Living in the Philippines especially in Tagaytay (Check the costs of Real State in the Philippines here), is such a great opportunity. It has a cool weather with the gorgeous view of mountains, trees, lakes and others (Check out what the Philippines to offer here.) If I have given an opportunity and have lots of money, I will definitely buy properties in Tagaytay.

Sky Ranch operating hours is Monday to Friday, 10AM to 10PM Entrance/ Admission Fee is P50) and Suturday to Sunday as well Holidays opens from 8AM to 10 PM (Entrance/ Admission Fee is P80).
