The City of Pines will celebrate the much-awaited festival in the Philippines, Panagbenga Festival, happening from February 1 to March 8, 2015. It will feature Grand Street Dancing Parade, Drum & Lyre Band Competition and the Grand Float Parade.
This year's theme “Across 20 Years of Blossoming Together" will showcase not only the season of blooming of flowers but also the progress of the economy of Baguio City. The month-long celebration event will start on the 1st of February and will be ended on the 8th of March.
Visitors can expect amazing and colorful themed-floats decorated with fresh flowers and other organic materials which will be paraded along the streets of the Baguio City. The Street Dancing Parade is also one of the highlights of the festival, which will feature dancers in flower-inspired costumes dancing in street.
