For those who are planning to go to Kadayawan Festival 2015, you need to make sure you already booked a flight going to Davao City. The air fare now is very expensive. Lucky for those who availed discounted or piso fare that was offered by local airlines like Cebu Pacific and Air Asia.

Kadayawan Festival is the biggest event in the city of Davao. It's held every third week of August. This year's celebration is scheduled from August 17 to 23, 2015.
The highlight of this much-awaited festival is floral floats and street-dancing competitions. There will be also exhibits that showcase Davao’s tourism products and services.
The 2015 Kadayawan Festival will mark its 30th celebration. It will feature Kadayawan sa Kadalanan, Yugyugan sa Kadayawan Pamulak, Tunog Mindanaw, Sayaw Mindanaw, and Hulagway sa Kadayawan. There will also be Kadayawan sa Lumadnong Katilingban, which includes Hiyas sa Kadayawan, Lumadnong Dula, Panagtagbo, Lumadnong Bantawan, and Davao River Festival.
Meanwhile, Kadayawan is from the friendly greeting “Madayaw”, from the Dabawenyo word “dayaw”, meaning good, valuable, superior or beautiful. The festival is a thanksgiving for the gifts of nature, the bounties of harvest, the wealth of culture and the serenity living.
The official schedule of activities for the Kadayawan Festival 2015 is not yet announced.
